Gaza city: Four Palestinians were killed and a fifth was injured by Israeli army fire in the Gaza Strip on Monday, marking the latest breach of a ceasefire agreement, medics reported. Nasser Hospital in southern Gaza confirmed the arrival of two bodies following an Israeli drone strike in Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Younis.

According to Anadolu Agency, two additional individuals were fatally shot by Israeli snipers in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood of eastern Gaza City. Medical sources also reported that a Palestinian sustained injuries from artillery fire near the 'yellow line' in the Al-Shaaf area of Al-Tuffah, though details about their condition were not disclosed.

Witnesses described Israeli aircraft conducting airstrikes, supported by tank and helicopter gunfire, in northeastern Rafah in southern Gaza. In Khan Younis, Israeli forces executed several airstrikes in the city's eastern parts, where they maintain a military presence.

The Israeli army stated that its forces opened fire on three Palestinians in Khan Younis for allegedly crossing the 'yellow line,' which separates army-controlled areas from those inhabited by Palestinians, claiming they posed a threat to its troops. This incident represents a violation of the ceasefire that took effect in Gaza on October 10.

According to local authorities, Israeli army fire has resulted in at least 342 Palestinian deaths since the implementation of the ceasefire. Since October 2023, the Israeli army's offensive in Gaza has claimed nearly 70,000 lives, primarily women and children, and has injured over 170,900 people, leaving much of the enclave in ruins.
