Israeli Army Kills Teen During South Lebanon Raid

Hasbaya: The Lebanese Health Ministry reported that a 15-year-old boy was killed and another individual was injured during an Israeli military operation in southern Lebanon early Tuesday. The raid took place in the town of Halta, located in the Hasbaya district, and was characterized by heavy gunfire.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Health Ministry stated that Israeli forces entered the town at dawn, resulting in the abduction of a resident. The operation's intense gunfire led to the death of the teenager and the injury of another civilian. There has been no response from the Israeli army regarding the incident.

The Israeli military has been conducting airstrikes and a ground offensive in southern Lebanon following a cross-border attack by Hezbollah on March 2. Lebanese authorities have reported that at least 1,039 people have died and 2,876 have been injured in the ongoing Israeli attacks.

The conflict escalation is linked to the commencement of a joint US-Israeli offensive on Iran, which began on February 28. The offensive has resulted in over 1,340 fatalities. In response, Tehran has launched drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, as well as Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries, citing these nations as hosts to 'US military assets.'
