Tel aviv: The Israeli army announced on Saturday that it has targeted the headquarters of Iran’s Marine Industries Organization. The military operation is part of ongoing hostilities between Israel and Iran, which have intensified in recent months.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Israeli army stated that the headquarters is a critical facility responsible for the development of naval weapons. The army also reported that it targeted several locations used for the production and development of weapons and air defense systems. This military action comes amid growing tensions in the region following a joint offensive by the United States and Israel against Iran, which began on February 28 and resulted in over 1,340 fatalities, including the death of the then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

In response, Tehran has carried out drone and missile strikes aimed at Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf nations hosting US military assets. These retaliatory attacks have caused casualties, infrastructure damage, and disruptions to global markets and aviation. The situation remains volatile as both sides continue to engage in military actions, further escalating the conflict in the region.
