Tel aviv: The Israeli army has issued a grave warning to residents of Tehran, urging them to evacuate due to planned military strikes targeting Iran's military infrastructure. The announcement was made on Friday, signaling potential escalation in the region.
According to Anadolu Agency, Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee communicated "urgent alerts" through a post on the US social media platform X. The warning specifically advised residents in Tehran's Moniriyeh District and the Lia Industrial Area in Qazvin to vacate the areas immediately.
The tensions between Israel and Iran have been worsening since the joint attack by Israel and the US on Iran on February 28. Iranian authorities have reported significant casualties from the attack, with around 1,300 people killed and more than 10,000 injured. In retaliation, Tehran has launched drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, as well as Jordan, Iraq, and other Gulf nations hosting US military assets.
