Israeli Assaults in Gaza Result in 33 Palestinian Fatalities

Gaza City: At least 33 Palestinians were killed and scores wounded Saturday in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, according to health sources. Israel targeted homes and infrastructure in assaults that have continued in the coastal enclave.

According to Anadolu Agency, the attacks resulted in fatalities across multiple areas. In the Batn al-Samin area of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, four people were killed and several injured. In Jabalia in the north, five members of the al-Harsani family lost their lives in a bombing, with several others wounded.

Additional attacks claimed 10 lives in the Bureij refugee camp, eight in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, five in Beit Lahia, and one in Kizan al-Najjar. The Israeli army renewed its assault on Gaza on March 18, shattering a Jan. 19 ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement with the Palestinian resistance group, Hamas.

Since October 2023, more than 52,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza in a brutal Israeli onslaught, most of them women and children.
