Ankara: Eight more Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire in the Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours, pushing the death toll since October 2023 to 73,231, the Health Ministry said Monday.

According to Anadolu Agency, a ministry statement mentioned that 32 injured individuals were also transported to hospitals in the region since Sunday, raising the total number of injuries during the same period to 173,686 people. The circumstances surrounding the new casualties were not specified by the ministry, despite a ceasefire that has been in effect since October 10, 2025.

Since the ceasefire began, Israeli attacks have resulted in the deaths of 1,108 people and injuries to 3,578 others, as reported by the ministry. The ongoing conflict has also led to extensive damage in Gaza, with approximately 90% of civilian infrastructure affected.
