Beirut: An Israeli drone crashed in the town of Kfar Rumman in southern Lebanon, injuring a girl and her father, as reported by the Lebanese National News Agency. The drone malfunctioned while flying over the Ali al-Taher-Al-Dabsha heights and crashed near a home belonging to the Qansou family. The injured were transported to the Nabih Berri Governmental Hospital by the Risala Association's rescue team.

According to Anadolu Agency, this incident is part of a series of aggressive actions by Israel in southern Lebanon, including artillery shelling and incursions into towns accompanied by intensive aerial activity. The Lebanese National News Agency recorded ongoing shelling in the town of Mansouri, south of Tyre, and reported Israeli forces advancing into the outskirts of other towns, erecting barriers, and dropping explosives in areas like Nabatieh al-Fawqa.

The recent attacks coincide with diplomatic efforts to resolve tensions. Lebanese President Joseph Aoun highlighted progress in negotiations held in Rome under US auspices. These talks aim to implement a 'framework agreement' for Israeli withdrawal from occupied territories in exchange for Lebanese security measures. Despite these efforts, Israeli military operations have persisted since March, causing significant casualties and injuries, as stated by the Lebanese Health Ministry.
