Israeli Drone Strike in Gaza Claims Lives Amid Ceasefire

Gaza: Two Palestinians lost their lives in an Israeli drone strike in the Nuseirat refugee camp located in central Gaza. The incident occurred early Wednesday, marking a violation of the ceasefire currently in effect, as reported by medical sources.

According to Anadolu Agency, a subsequent attack led to injuries among four Palestinians, including three children. This strike targeted tents sheltering displaced individuals in the al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis. Despite the ceasefire that has been in place since October 10, Israeli forces have been reported to carry out daily violations. These actions have resulted in 677 fatalities and 1,813 injuries as of March 18, based on data from the Health Ministry.

In October 2023, Israel initiated a war on Gaza, which has resulted in the deaths of over 72,000 Palestinians and injuries to approximately 172,000 others. The conflict has also led to the devastation of about 90% of the region's civilian infrastructure.
