Israeli Drone Strike Kills Two Palestinians in Central Gaza

Gaza: Two Palestinians were killed on Tuesday in an Israeli drone strike targeting a gathering of civilians north of the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, as reported by medical sources and eyewitnesses. The strike occurred despite the ceasefire agreement that has been in effect in the enclave since October 10, 2025.

According to Anadolu Agency, the bodies of the two Palestinians were brought to Al-Awda Medical Complex north of Nuseirat following the strike. Eyewitnesses reported that an Israeli drone targeted a group of civilians on Jules Street, leading to the fatalities.

The Gaza Health Ministry released figures on Tuesday indicating that Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement have resulted in the deaths of 997 Palestinians and have wounded 3,152 others. The ongoing conflict, which began on October 8, 2023, has claimed the lives of over 73,000 Palestinians and injured more than 173,000, causing extensive damage to 90% of the enclave's civilian infrastructure.
