Israeli Forces Blow Up Abandoned House and Open Fire on Farmland in Southern Syria

Quneitra:Damascus Israeli forces blew up an abandoned house and opened machine-gun fire toward agricultural land in Syria's southern Quneitra province, Syrian media reported on Thursday.

According to Anadolu Agency – English, Syria's state-run Alikhbariah TV stated that Israeli forces demolished an abandoned house in the town of Hamidiyah in the northern Quneitra countryside.

In a separate incident, the broadcaster reported that Israeli troops stationed at western Tal al-Ahmar opened machine-gun fire toward farmland surrounding the town of Kudna. There were no immediate reports of casualties from the incidents.

These developments occur amid repeated Israeli military incursions into southern Syria. Since the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime in December 2024, Israel has conducted numerous incursions into the region after declaring the 1974 disengagement agreement void and occupying the demilitarized buffer zone. Damascus has repeatedly demanded the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Syrian territory.
