Quneitra: Israeli forces entered two towns in northern Quneitra on Tuesday, marking the latest breach of Syria's sovereignty.

According to Anadolu Agency, Syrian state-run Alikhbaria Syria TV reported on the social media platform X that an Israeli patrol had entered the town of Turnejeh, located north of Quneitra.

The report stated that the Israeli patrol paused in the town square before proceeding towards Hader in the northern Quneitra countryside. The channel did not provide further details on the incident.

Additionally, another Israeli military convoy was observed moving from Tel al-Ahmar al-Gharbi towards the village of Al-Asbah in the southern Quneitra countryside, creating a sense of anticipation among the local residents.

Following the collapse of the Bashar al-Assad regime in late 2024, Israel extended its occupation of the Syrian Golan Heights by seizing the demilitarized buffer zone. This move contravened the 1974 disengagement agreement with Syria. Israel has also launched numerous airstrikes targeting military sites across Syria, including fighter jets, missile systems, and air defense installations.
