Hebron: Israeli occupiers and military forces carried out coordinated attacks and raids across the occupied West Bank, resulting in injuries to at least 10 Palestinians and the arrest of another 10 individuals, as reported by local sources and Palestinian officials.
According to Anadolu Agency, in the southern West Bank town of Yatta, Israeli occupiers set a Palestinian home ablaze while a mother and her daughter were inside. Aliya al-Nawajaa, the homeowner, recounted that five masked occupiers attacked her residence at dawn, threatening her through the bedroom window before setting it on fire. She managed to escape with her daughter before the flames engulfed the home.
In another development, Israeli forces transported mobile homes to an illegal settlement outpost on Mount Tarousa, near Dura, as part of a settlement expansion plan, according to local sources.
In the northern West Bank, widespread raids by Israeli forces in the Nablus governorate resulted in injuries to three Palestinians and the arrest of 10 others. The raids, which began Wednesday night, targeted several areas, including the city of Nablus and nearby towns. During these operations, Israeli forces conducted interrogations and made arrests, creating a heavy military presence and road closures.
Meanwhile, in Ramallah and the northern Jordan Valley, seven Palestinians were injured in separate attacks by Israeli occupiers. In Ramallah, occupiers attacked a vehicle between Al-Mughayyir and Abu Falah, causing it to overturn and injure six passengers. In the northern Jordan Valley, a Palestinian man was assaulted while working.
Additionally, clashes erupted in Nablus when Israeli forces closed the Balata refugee camp's main entrance and raided its mosque, preventing journalists from entering the area. In Tulkarm, Israeli forces arrested a Palestinian woman and her son after raiding their home, with the woman being the wife of a detainee held in Israeli administrative detention.
Since the launch of Israel's war on Gaza in late 2023, attacks on Palestinians across the occupied West Bank have intensified, including killings, injuries, and the destruction of property. Local residents fear these actions aim to facilitate Israel's annexation of the entire West Bank.
