Hebron:Israeli occupiers injured four Palestinians in separate incidents across the occupied West Bank on Tuesday. Among the injured were a couple whose home was besieged in the Wadi al-Rakhim area south of Hebron.
According to Anadolu Agency, the couple, Yousef Shnaran and his wife, were assaulted after dozens of Israeli occupiers surrounded their home in the Masafer Yatta area. A relative, Ayman Shnaran, reported that the occupiers had previously set up a tent near the house and gathered before the assault.
Israeli soldiers arrived at the scene but did not lift the siege, and ambulances could not access the injured couple. Meanwhile, seven children remained inside the besieged home.
Elsewhere in Hebron, Israeli occupiers attacked Palestinian homes and opened fire in Beit Ummar. The official Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that Israeli forces also raided several homes in the town, although no injuries or arrests were reported.
In the northern West Bank, two Palestinian farmers, who are brothers, were injured during an attack on olive harvesters from Marda and nearby Jamma'in, north of Salfit. Both were hospitalized in stable condition, and olives collected by the farmers were reportedly stolen.
The Palestinian Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission has documented over 14,742 attacks by Israeli occupiers across the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, since October 2023, resulting in the deaths of 66 Palestinians.
