Gaza city: The Israeli army reported on Saturday that it had killed three Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, marking a new breach of the ceasefire agreement established last year. A military statement from the Israeli army detailed that forces from the 188th Armored Brigade in southern Gaza identified three Palestinians who allegedly crossed the Yellow Line and approached the troops, posing an immediate threat.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Israeli army alleged that one of the Palestinians attempted to seize military equipment before fleeing. The army stated that an Israeli aircraft subsequently carried out an airstrike, killing the individual west of the Yellow Line to neutralize the threat. In northern Gaza, the army claimed that forces from the Northern Brigade identified several Palestinians crossing the Yellow Line and nearing Israeli positions, describing their actions as an immediate threat. Israeli forces reportedly opened fire upon spotting them, resulting in the deaths of two Palestinians.

The incidents followed reports from Palestinian medical sources that two individuals were killed and several others injured by Israeli army fire in separate attacks across Gaza. These events are part of ongoing Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement that took effect on October 10, 2025. Since October 2023, the Israeli offensive has claimed more than 71,000 lives, most of whom were women and children, and injured over 171,000, leaving the Gaza Strip devastated.

Despite the ceasefire, Israeli attacks have persisted, resulting in the deaths of 425 Palestinians and injuries to 1,189 others, as reported by the Gaza Health Ministry.
