Tel aviv: Israeli forces rammed a vessel belonging to the Gaza-bound Global Sumud Flotilla and deployed water cannons against the fleet, mistreating the activists on board. According to Anadolu Agency, the International Committee for Breaking the Siege on Gaza reported on the US social media company X's platform that the Israeli forces used violence against the ships, deliberately ramming one vessel and deploying water cannons. The committee also claimed that peaceful detainees from 50 countries around the world were brutally mistreated. The organizers of the flotilla have called for urgent international intervention, urging governments to take action as people across various world capitals express their anger. The flotilla, which primarily carried humanitarian aid and medical supplies, set sail at the end of August and was expected to reach Gaza's coast Thursday morning under normal circumstances.
