Tel Aviv: The Israeli military announced a significant series of airstrikes across western Iran, claiming to have targeted missile-launching infrastructure, storage facilities, radar systems, and military satellites. This operation was described as a broad wave of airstrikes conducted late Sunday.

According to Anadolu Agency, the military stated that around 20 fighter jets executed intelligence-based strikes using over 30 munitions on military targets within Iran. The strikes focused on infrastructure sites in Kermanshah and Hamedan, which were reportedly intended to harm Israel. Additionally, the operation included targeting radar sites used for aerial intelligence assessments.

In a separate incident, the Israeli military reported targeting a surface-to-air missile launcher near Tehran. Earlier, a fresh series of airstrikes was initiated, focusing on military infrastructure in Tehran and western Iran, as reported by the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, citing a military spokesperson.

Iranian media reported a significant explosion in Kermanshah, and air defense systems were reportedly activated in Tabriz following the attacks. Earlier on Sunday, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that U.S. forces had bombed three Iranian nuclear sites in Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan. The U.S. attacks involved six bunker-buster bombs dropped on the Fordo facility and numerous submarine-launched cruise missile strikes on Natanz and Isfahan.

These events mark the latest escalation in the U.S.-backed Israeli military assault on Iran since June 13, leading Tehran to retaliate with attacks on Israel. Israeli authorities reported that at least 25 people have been killed and hundreds injured due to Iranian missile attacks. In Iran, the Iranian Health Ministry reported at least 430 deaths and more than 3,500 injuries resulting from the Israeli assault.
