Hebron: An Israeli occupier shot and killed a 17-year-old Palestinian during an attack near his home in the southern occupied West Bank on Friday, according to his family and a medical source.
According to Anadolu Agency, a medical source at Al-Mizan Hospital in Hebron stated that Karim Sanad Shalaldeh died from a gunshot wound sustained during the attack in the Hamroush area of Sa'ir, north of Hebron.
His father, Sanad Shalaldeh, shared with Anadolu that approximately 50 Israeli occupiers attacked the family home, during which one of them shot his son at close range. 'My son was standing in front of the house and did nothing. When he asked them to move away, one of them shot him in the chest and killed him in cold blood,' the father recounted.
He further explained that his son was shot while trying to drive the Israeli occupiers away from their house, adding that two other people were seriously wounded in the attack.
Israeli military raids and occupier attacks against Palestinians and their property have intensified across the occupied West Bank since October 2023.
