Israeli Occupiers Kill Palestinian During West Bank Clashes

Tubas: Israeli occupiers shot dead a Palestinian man during clashes in the northern West Bank, a Palestinian official said on Wednesday. Mutez Bisharat, an official at the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) in charge of the Tubas and Northern Jordan Valley files, reported the incident, highlighting the escalation of tensions in the area.

According to Anadolu Agency, Bisharat stated that Israeli occupiers had set up an illegal outpost near Tubas, located between the villages of Tayasir and Al Aqaba. He revealed that during the ensuing clashes, a Palestinian identified as Alaa Khaled Subaih was shot dead by the occupiers near the outpost.

Bisharat further explained that following the incident, Israeli forces took Subaih’s body into custody. He noted that large groups of occupiers had gathered in the area under the protection of Israeli forces, indicating that the situation remains tense.

The official also mentioned that the Israeli army declared Tayasir and Al-Aqaba a closed military zone, initiating a large-scale operation. The operation involved raiding the area with bulldozers and conducting house searches, adding to the heightened tensions in the region.
