Gaza city: At least 58 Palestinians were killed in a series of Israeli military strikes across the Gaza Strip, medical sources reported on Monday. The strikes resulted in numerous casualties, with several individuals injured in the assault.

According to Anadolu Agency, one of the strikes targeted a clinic-turned-shelter in the Al-Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City, leading to the deaths of six people, including a toddler, and injuring 15 others. In a separate incident, the Israeli army struck an apartment in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, killing one Palestinian and injuring several more, as reported by medical sources and witnesses.

In southern Gaza, Israeli forces opened fire on crowds gathered near aid distribution centers west of Rafah, resulting in the deaths of five Palestinians and injuries to over 40 others, according to medical sources.

In related developments, US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met at the White House. Trump mentioned the US's cooperation with surrounding countries regarding the Palestinian relocation plan. Netanyahu expressed support for Trump's vision, emphasizing the concept of free choice for Palestinians in Gaza.

Furthermore, Trump announced that the US has scheduled talks with Iran, with the expectation that both parties are willing to engage in dialogue. The meeting is expected to take place within the next week, as per Trump's Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff.
