Gaza City:Four Palestinians were killed and ten others injured by Israeli army fire in the Gaza Strip on Monday. This incident occurred amid ongoing daily violations of the ceasefire agreement established last year, as reported by a medical source.
According to Anadolu Agency – English, the Nasser Medical Complex in southern Gaza confirmed that an Israeli strike in al-Mawasi, west of Khan Younis, resulted in the death of one man and injuries to five others, including a woman and two girls. Eyewitnesses reported that an Israeli drone had fired at least one missile at a Palestinian in the al-Mawasi area.
In a separate attack in Khan Younis, another Palestinian man was killed, and four others were wounded, with one in critical condition. A Palestinian man also succumbed to wounds from an Israeli strike on al-Mawasi on Sunday afternoon.
Israeli military operations extended to other regions, with heavy fire directed towards areas east and south of Khan Younis, as per local sources and witnesses. An Israeli quadcopter reportedly dropped a bomb on a group of Palestinians east of al-Masdar village, east of Deir al-Balah, and military forces demolished homes and buildings outside their deployment zones.
The region has seen incursions by Israeli military vehicles and bulldozers, accompanied by gunfire and artillery shelling, leading to the destruction of homes and civilian structures and displacing several families. In Gaza City, Israeli military vehicles fired artillery shells and gunfire toward eastern neighborhoods, while Israeli naval vessels targeted the city's coastline.
The Health Ministry of Gaza has reported that Israeli violations of the ceasefire have resulted in the deaths of 1,583 Palestinians and injuries to 5,711 others since October 10, 2025. The ceasefire followed a two-year conflict described as an Israeli genocidal war, which claimed the lives of over 74,000 Palestinians and injured more than 175,000 others since October 2023.
