Gaza strip: At least 28 Palestinians were killed in the latest Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip on Saturday, according to medical sources. The strikes included multiple incidents that led to significant casualties and injuries among the Palestinian population.

According to Anadolu Agency, Israeli artillery targeted homes in the town of Jabalia al-Nazla in the northern Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of at least three Palestinians, including two children, and wounding others. Additionally, tents sheltering displaced families in the Asdaa area of Khan Younis were shelled, leading to the deaths of 16 people, among them six children and an infant, with several others injured.

In another incident, an Israeli drone targeted a house in the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, causing two fatalities and additional injuries. Meanwhile, two Palestinians were shot dead by Israeli forces while waiting for aid near distribution points in the southeast and near the Israeli-controlled Netzarim corridor.

Since May 27, Israel has implemented a unilateral aid delivery mechanism through the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, which has been criticized by Palestinians and international rights groups as 'death traps.' This mechanism has resulted in the deaths of 2,060 Palestinians and injuries to over 15,197 individuals.

In central Gaza, a drone strike in the Maghazi refugee camp led to the deaths of three Palestinians and injuries to others. The Al-Awda Hospital reported receiving two bodies and 26 injuries within the past 24 hours, primarily from drone strikes on residential areas and locations near aid distribution points.

In the northern region, Israeli bombardment persisted in Gaza City's Zeitoun neighborhood, which included widespread demolitions of buildings as part of Israel's strategy to reoccupy the territory. Since October 2023, Israeli military actions have resulted in over 62,000 Palestinian deaths in Gaza, exacerbating the region's humanitarian crisis.

Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel is also facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice concerning its military actions in the enclave.
