The European Commission has proposed to allocate 446.6 million euros in aid for Italy in response to natural disasters registered in 2023, according to a statement issued on Tuesday. A reported 378.8 million will be earmarked for floods recorded in the Emilia Romagna region in May and 67.8 million to Tuscany over floods in October and November, the statement added.
