Jordan and Bahrain Foreign Ministers Address Regional Tensions and Strengthen Ties

Jordan: Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and his Bahraini counterpart, Abdullatif Al Zayani, engaged in a significant conversation concerning regional developments and efforts to mitigate tensions, as reported by the Jordanian Foreign Ministry.

According to Anadolu Agency, the two ministers reviewed the longstanding relations between Jordan and Bahrain, emphasizing their commitment to strengthening ties and building on progress in areas of mutual interest. The discussions focused on regional developments, strategies to restore calm, and initiatives to establish security and stability across the region. Notably, they addressed efforts to ensure freedom of navigation in the strategic Strait of Hormuz.

Additionally, the ministers exchanged views on issues of mutual concern and explored ways to bolster joint Arab efforts. They agreed to maintain coordination and consultations on regional and international issues, both bilaterally and through regional and international multilateral organizations.
