Jordan: Jordanian air defenses intercepted and downed eight missiles launched from Iran toward the kingdom on Thursday, the armed forces said. A military source at the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army confirmed that the interception operations resulted in shrapnel scattered across several areas.

According to Anadolu Agency, no injuries or material damage were reported following the interception. The armed forces emphasized their continuous monitoring of regional developments and stated that they remain at the highest level of readiness to protect Jordan's airspace.

The missile interception occurred amid escalating military exchanges between Iran and the US for the second consecutive day. Earlier on Thursday, Iranian state media reported that Tehran targeted US military infrastructure in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar with drones. In response, Bahraini authorities activated warning sirens and announced interceptions of aerial threats.
