Moscow: Russia and the United States share several common perspectives regarding the situation in Ukraine, although it remains too early to discuss specific terms of any potential agreement. This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on Sunday.

According to Anadolu Agency, Peskov mentioned that there are multiple elements in the US's stance that align with Russia's position. He emphasized that while efforts to settle the situation in Ukraine are ongoing, it is currently premature to discuss any concrete conditions for a deal.

Peskov further indicated that the negotiations are being conducted privately, suggesting that discussions are taking place confidentially. He also noted that US President Donald Trump's views on Ukraine align in many respects with those held by Russia.
