According to Anadolu Agency, the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces has assured the public that any explosions heard are due to the interception of these threats by air defense systems. The situation arises amidst escalating tensions in the Strait of Hormuz. The region has seen increased military activity, with the United States conducting strikes on Iran, prompting retaliatory actions from Tehran against neighboring countries, including Kuwait, which hosts US military forces.
