Kuwait city: Kuwait's air defenses intercepted 14 ballistic missiles, two cruise missiles, and 46 drones over the past 24 hours, the country's Defense Ministry said on Monday.
According to Anadolu Agency, since the beginning of what Kuwait describes as 'Iranian aggression' on February 28, its defense forces have managed to address a total of 350 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 786 drones.
Regional tensions have escalated significantly following a joint offensive by the US and Israel on Iran on February 28. This offensive resulted in the deaths of more than 1,340 individuals, including the then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
In response, Tehran has carried out drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, along with Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries that host US military assets. Furthermore, Iran has imposed restrictions on the movement of ships through the Strait of Hormuz, adding to the ongoing regional instability.
