Ankara: Landslides, caused by heavy rains, killed at least eight people, while several remain missing in southeast Myanmar.
According to Anadolu Agency, many of the houses have been damaged due to the floods and the landslides at the Thandaunggyi town of the Kayin state.
Roads, bridges, and communication in the area have also been damaged by the weather-related incidents, making search and rescue operations harder to conduct.
