Frankfurt: The airlines of the Lufthansa Group announced on Monday that it has extended the suspension of its flights to Tel Aviv, Israel, until the end of January 2025. This decision is attributed to ongoing security concerns stemming from the conflict in the region. According to Anadolu Agency, the cancellation affects all airlines under the Lufthansa Group, including SWISS, Austrian Airlines, and Eurowings. Passengers impacted by this suspension will have the option to rebook their tickets for future travel dates without incurring additional costs or choose to receive a full refund. Previously, Lufthansa Group had also announced the suspension of flights to Tehran, Iran until the end of January, and to Beirut, Lebanon until the end of February. These suspensions are related to the broader conflict that began in October 2023.
