Washington:US First Lady Melania Trump is preparing to host representatives from Russia and Ukraine at the White House on Thursday, November 5. This event is being described by her office as a groundbreaking diplomatic initiative by a US first lady.

According to Anadolu Agency – English, Melania Trump took the initiative to engage independently with the two nations involved in conflict, leading to a ceasefire in Oleshky, located in Ukraine's Kherson region.

The Office of the First Lady emphasized this development as "an extraordinary moment in American history," highlighting Melania Trump's personal efforts to bring the two countries' representatives to the negotiation table. She is set to deliver remarks regarding the ceasefire in Oleshky at 11 am Eastern time (1600 GMT) on Thursday at the White House.
