Missile Launch from Yemen Injures Four Israelis During Shelter Rush.

Tel Aviv: Four Israelis sustained minor injuries on Sunday as they rushed to bomb shelters following a missile launch from Yemen targeting central Israel. The incident heightened regional tensions and added to the ongoing conflict in the area.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation reported that the Israeli army successfully intercepted the missile before it penetrated Israeli airspace. This prompt action prevented further casualties or damage. “Four individuals suffered minor injuries while heading to shelters as sirens sounded in central Israel,” the corporation added.

In an official statement, the Israeli army confirmed that alarms were triggered in multiple areas across central Israel due to the missile threat. They reassured the public by confirming the missile’s interception before it could cause harm.

This incident occurs amid escalating regional tensions fueled by Israel’s ongoing war on the Gaza Strip, which has resulted in nearly 44,400 deaths, predominantly affe
cting women and children, and injuring over 105,100 people since October of the previous year. The conflict has been widely condemned internationally, with many officials and institutions criticizing Israel’s actions and the blockade of aid, viewing them as a deliberate attempt to annihilate a population.

On November 21, the International Criminal Court (ICC) took significant action by issuing arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, citing war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in Gaza. Furthermore, Israel is facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its devastating war on Gaza.
