Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) has opened a criminal proceeding against RAI journalist Stefania Battistini and operator Simone Traini, Russian news agency Ria Novosti reported on Saturday. The pair are accused of "illegally crossing the State border of the Russian Federation and of filming a video in the territory of the village of Sudzha, in the region of Kursk", the news outlet said.
