Tel Aviv: Mandy Damari, the mother of Emily Damari, one of the Israeli captives released by Hamas as part of a prisoner exchange agreement, noted that her daughter’s health is “much better” than expected.
According to Anadolu Agency, in a written statement, Damari shared her joy at reuniting with her daughter, who was freed from captivity in Gaza. She expressed gratitude to the Israeli public for their support during this process.
Damari highlighted that since her release, Emily has reclaimed her life and is ‘the happiest girl’ in the world. The family emphasized the importance of continuing the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas to secure the release of the remaining Israeli captives still held in Gaza.
The prisoner exchange on Sunday resulted in the release of three Israeli women, including Emily, while Israel freed 90 Palestinian prisoners as part of the deal.
