The need for urgent de-escalation in the region was underlined during a telephone discussion between Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos and his Egyptian counterpart Dr. Badr Abdelatty on Wednesday. According to a Foreign Ministry post on X, Kombos had a telephone conversation with Dr. Abdelatty, with the discussion focusing on the strategic relations between the two countries and tensions in the Middle East.
