Tehran: New explosions rocked Tehran, the Iranian capital, amid ongoing attacks from the US and Israel. Smoke was seen rising from the western parts of the city, as reported by an Anadolu reporter. Kaveh Street in the city of Isfahan was also targeted during the attacks. Iranian officials noted that electricity on the street was cut off as a security measure, marking the third such attack in recent times.

According to Anadolu Agency, Iranian media also reported explosions in the Khuzestan province, as well as in the cities of Tabriz, Shiraz, and Mashhad. The hostilities in the region have been escalating since the US and Israel launched a joint offensive on Iran on February 28, resulting in the deaths of more than 1,340 individuals, including the then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. In retaliation, Tehran has launched waves of drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military assets. These retaliatory strikes have inflicted casualties and infrastructure damage, while also disrupting global markets and aviation.
