New Strategies for Islamic Economy to Be Discussed at 2nd Global Islamic Summit in Istanbul

Istanbul: The 2nd Global Islamic Economy Summit of Albaraka is set to concentrate on the empowerment of Islamic financial and non-financial institutions in achieving sustainable growth and impacting the global economy through innovative strategies. The summit, commencing this Friday in Istanbul, represents a collaborative effort involving Trkiye's Investment Office, the Istanbul Financial Center (IFC), Albaraka Turk Bank, Ibn Haldun University, and the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF).

According to Anadolu Agency, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is anticipated to make an appearance at the event. The summit's agenda centers on enhancing operational efficiency, fostering innovation, strengthening risk management, promoting financial participation, and supporting cooperation among industry stakeholders by deepening the understanding of Islamic principles.

The summit aims to gather executives, business leaders, decision-makers, legislators, and regulators from Islamic banks to commit to a strategic roadmap aligned with national priorities. Key discussions on integrating Islamic economic principles are expected to take place, emphasizing the development of a collective strategy for the sector.

The summit is scheduled to conclude on June 1, marking the end of a significant gathering for the Islamic economic landscape.
