Kyiv: Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store arrived in Kyiv on Monday, as confirmed by Andriy Yermak, head of the Ukrainian presidential office.
According to Anadolu Agency, Yermak shared on Telegram that Store was welcomed alongside Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha. The visit highlights the importance of international support for Ukraine, as emphasized by Yermak, who noted the significance of having steadfast allies during these times.
Yermak expressed appreciation for Norway's consistent backing, particularly in the defense sector, stating, "Norway always stands by our people, provides significant support for the defense sector, and we value this reliable solidarity."
This visit follows a recent unannounced visit by German Vice Chancellor and Finance Minister Lars Klingbeil to the Ukrainian capital, further underscoring the ongoing international engagement with Ukraine.
