Ankara: The Embassy of Pakistan in the Turkish capital organized a program to mark the country's National Day on Sunday. The event, held at the embassy, saw the participation of Pakistan's Ambassador to Ankara, Yousaf Junaid, along with numerous guests.

According to Anadolu Agency, the ceremony commenced with the hoisting of the Pakistani flag, accompanied by the national anthem. Messages from Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif were conveyed during the event. The leaders extended their congratulations, paid tribute to the visionary leadership of Pakistan's founding father, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, and expressed solidarity with the people of Kashmir.

Ambassador Junaid, during the ceremony, emphasized the importance of National Day, honoring the sacrifices of Pakistan's founders. He also highlighted the nation's resilience and reaffirmed its dedication to peace, security, and development, while expressing gratitude to martyrs and veterans.
