Gordon Findlay, a representative from Novo Nordisk, collapsed as Eli Lilly CEO David Ricks was speaking at the Oval Office event. The occasion was marked by an announcement regarding a deal to expand coverage and reduce prices for obesity treatments Zepbound and Wegovy.

According to Anadolu Agency, Dr. Oz, who serves as a physician and administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services in the Trump administration, promptly attended to Findlay, alongside others present. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was also in attendance but quickly exited the scene to seek additional medical assistance, as confirmed by White House deputy spokesman Kush Desai.

Journalists were escorted out of the room, and the live broadcast was temporarily halted following the incident.
