PKK Realizes It Cannot Achieve Separatist Goals, Says Turkish President

Ankara: Trkiye's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that the PKK has come to the realization that its separatist ambitions are unattainable. Erdogan addressed families of fallen soldiers and veterans at the Presidential Complex, emphasizing the impact of Trkiye's persistent efforts both domestically and internationally on the PKK's inability to achieve its objectives in Syria and Trkiye.

According to Anadolu Agency, Erdogan assured that there would be no compromise on the core values of the Turkish state, the nation's principles, or the concerns of families of fallen soldiers and veterans during the Terror-Free Trkiye initiative. He reaffirmed his commitment to preserving the dignity of the nation and preventing any future shameful initiatives. The president emphasized that security forces would continue to oversee the process rigorously.

Erdogan highlighted the importance of supporting the families of fallen soldiers and veterans, stating that Trkiye's national flag and legacy were entrusted to them. He noted that the government has deployed state resources to aid these families and veterans, with continuous support from various governmental bodies.

This week, parliament took a significant step towards the Terror-Free Trkiye initiative, which aims to eradicate terrorism from the nation. Erdogan remarked on Trkiye's growing strength and regional influence, identifying the current process as the culmination of extensive efforts against terrorism.

Emphasizing adherence to law and democracy, Erdogan stated that there would be no concessions regarding the state's fundamental characteristics, national values, or the concerns of veterans and families of fallen soldiers. A board chaired by the vice president would monitor the progress and actions taken in this regard.

The president called for vigilance against attempts by political parties or other entities to exploit the process for personal gain. He urged families and veterans to remain watchful and to continue placing their trust in the state as the government handles the issue with patience and care, aiming to permanently rid Trkiye of terrorism.
