Warsaw: Polish prosecutors claimed on Wednesday that a Ukrainian man now in custody was spying on their military infrastructure, according to broadcaster TVP World. The individual, identified as Bohdan K., was initially detained alongside another Ukrainian, Kyrylo T., for the possession of illegal drugs in eastern Poland.

According to Anadolu Agency, authorities discovered correspondence on Bohdan K.'s secured telephone, which indicated that he had been sharing photographs and geographical coordinates of critical military infrastructure with a Russian-speaking individual. This information was reportedly linked to facilities utilized by the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland.

Bohdan K. has been charged with aiding foreign intelligence and supplying intelligence detrimental to Poland's security. He remains in custody for three months as further investigations proceed. Despite the charges, the suspect has pleaded not guilty, expressing pro-Russian sentiments and questioning Ukraine's sovereignty, the prosecutors noted.

Meanwhile, Kyrylo T. faced charges related to the possession of illegal drugs and has been released from custody.
