The President of the Republic Ni?os Christodoulides exchanged views on the evolving situation in the region and on initiatives being developed to avoid further escalation in a telephone conversation with King Abdullah II of Jordan on Thursday. According to a post by Government Spokesperson Konstantinos Letymbiotis on X, the two leaders also stressed the need to avoid actions that would further escalate the situation and called on all parties to avoid such actions in order to maintain peace and security.
