Qatar: Qatar announced on Tuesday its commitment to ensuring the full implementation of the ceasefire plan in the Gaza Strip, despite facing challenges due to Israeli resistance.

According to Anadolu Agency, Foreign Ministry spokesman Majed al-Ansari emphasized at a news conference that Doha is steadfast in its efforts to advance the Gaza ceasefire plan. Al-Ansari stated, "What we are demanding is that both parties to the Gaza agreement fully implement the agreed plan."

The situation has been complicated by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's rejection of a 15-point Gaza ceasefire plan. Netanyahu has insisted on the disarmament of Hamas as a prerequisite, although the roadmap introduced by US President Donald Trump's Board of Peace on July 31 suggests that Hamas' disarmament and an Israeli withdrawal should occur gradually and in tandem.

In addressing the wider regional crisis, al-Ansari noted that Qatar is concentrating on reducing tensions and encouraging the US and Iran to return to their memorandum of understanding and resume negotiations. He remarked, "At this stage, our efforts are focused on stopping the escalation and bringing both sides of the crisis back to the dialogue table."

Al-Ansari further mentioned Qatar's aim for a concurrent agreement on reopening the Strait of Hormuz and establishing a ceasefire. Regarding the incident involving Iranian pilots in Qatari airspace, al-Ansari reported that Qatar had discovered the remains of one pilot on March 19 and subsequently returned them to Iran. However, Tehran has yet to respond to Qatar's request to send a technical team to oversee the search operations.
