Qatar: Qatar announced on Sunday that its military forces intercepted several drones originating from Iran. This development comes amidst escalating hostilities between Iran and the United States throughout the region.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Qatari Defense Ministry released a statement confirming the successful neutralization of the drones. However, the ministry did not specify the total number of drones intercepted. This incident highlights the increasing regional tensions as exchanges of attacks escalate.

The interception occurred against the backdrop of ongoing joint military actions by the US and Israel against Iran since February 28, resulting in significant casualties, including the death of Iran's then-Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. In response, Tehran has launched drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries, asserting these actions are aimed at US military installations.
