Moscow: Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Al-Sudani have mutually decided to delay the first Russian-Arab Summit, which was scheduled for next week in Moscow. This decision comes in light of recent developments concerning US President Donald Trump's Gaza ceasefire plan.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Kremlin announced that both leaders, during a phone conversation, acknowledged the challenges that many Arab leaders would face in traveling to Moscow for the summit, originally planned for Wednesday. The discussion centered around the initiation of the implementation phase of the Gaza plan.

The Kremlin further stated that both sides agreed it would be prudent to postpone the summit to a future date, which will be coordinated at a later time. Russia and Iraq plan to inform other Arab nations about the postponement through diplomatic channels.
