Pyongyang: The deputy chiefs of North Korea's Public Security Ministry and Russia's Interior Ministry have engaged in discussions aimed at enhancing cooperation between their respective safety agencies, as reported by state media on Thursday.

According to Anadolu Agency, North Korean Vice Minister of Public Security Ri Song-chol and Russia's Vice Minister of Internal Affairs, Vitaly Shulika, held talks on Wednesday in Pyongyang. The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported that the discussions were centered on expanding and developing exchanges and cooperation between the two countries' safety agencies, conducted in an atmosphere of camaraderie and friendship.

The Russian delegation, led by Shulika, arrived in Pyongyang on Monday. During their visit, they also met with North Korea's Minister of Public Security, Pang Tu-sop, on Wednesday. The delegation took the opportunity to visit significant sites in the capital, including the Juche Tower and the subway system.
