Ankara: Russia claimed on Saturday that it took control of another settlement in Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region. The Defense Ministry claimed in a statement that its forces captured the village of Bondarne, located approximately 26 kilometers (16 miles) east of Kramatorsk, the administrative center of the Donetsk region. This development follows Moscow's capture of Donetsk city in 2014.

According to Anadolu Agency, Ukrainian authorities have yet to comment on Russia's claims. The ongoing conflict makes independent verification of these claims challenging. The situation continues to evolve as both sides remain engaged in the conflict.
