Russia Claims Control Over Two Villages in Ukraine’s Donetsk Region

Moscow: Russia has announced that its forces have successfully captured two settlements in Ukraine's Donetsk region. The settlements of Ulakly and Novoandriivka have reportedly been taken by the Southern and Central Military Group units as a result of what the Russian Defense Ministry described as decisive actions.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Defense Ministry stated that since the onset of the conflict, Russian forces have destroyed a significant amount of Ukrainian military equipment. This includes 656 aircraft, 283 helicopters, and 44,263 unmanned aerial vehicles. Additionally, 596 air defense missile systems, 21,713 tanks and armored vehicles, 1,521 multiple rocket launchers, 21,980 howitzers and mortars, along with over 32,000 special military vehicles have been claimed as destroyed by Russia.

The Russian Defense Ministry also announced a day earlier that the settlement of Novolyubivka in the Luhansk region had been captured, highlighting continued advancements in the region.
