Ankara: Russia claimed on Tuesday that it took control of another settlement in Ukraine's northeastern Kharkiv region. The Russian Defense Ministry stated that its forces captured the village of Volokhivske, which is located approximately 13 kilometers (8 miles) from the Russia-Ukraine border.
According to Anadolu Agency, Ukrainian authorities have not immediately commented on the claim. Additionally, independent verification of the claim is challenging due to the ongoing conflict in the region. The situation remains fluid as tensions continue to escalate between the two countries.
