Moscow: Russia on Tuesday announced a temporary suspension of crossings at seven railway checkpoints on its borders with Finland, Latvia, and Estonia. The decision will impact the movement of people, vehicles, goods, and cargo through these rail crossings starting July 1.

According to Anadolu Agency, a government order highlighted that the Russian Foreign Ministry has been tasked with notifying the respective countries, Finland, Latvia, and Estonia, about this decision. The government order, however, did not provide specific reasons for the suspension of these railway border crossings.
